Global Entry platform is blocked

re:ttp.dhs.gov

When you choose Global Entry renewal there is a pop up about Security that one cannot get past - it goes way off the bottom of the screen and there is no scroll bar to go down the page. So you can't access the agree and continue bar. The genius code writers of DHD should be fired! Have you noticed a complete drop off in renewal applications? Wonder no more - your own dept.'s geniuses have rendered it... more »

Defense Production Act is harmful to workers

Essential workers and construction workers have relied on 3M respirators for their safety for many years while being forced to work in dangerous circumstances, but it is impossible to buy or provide replacement filters for the respirators that keep them safe because 3M is not allowed to sell to suppliers who are not medical workers. I am a retail vendor who is desperately trying to resupply those workers. I am also trying... more »

Encourage those with disabilities to use their unique talents to detect threats and protect the homeland

Those with sight, hearing, or mechanical (walking/ambulating/amputations) impairments have a unique and important role to play in being the eyes and ears for safety in the disabled community. Criminals may look upon the disabled as easy targets, but the unique gifts that have been given these individuals (increased ability to hear and distinguish sounds for the blind), access to paraolympic and other disabled sports communities... more »

COVID-19

As a Medicare contracted Homecare Provider we are required to develop and maintain an emergency preparedness plan. The emergency is here. DHS should mobilize and procure and provide the N95 masks and personal protective equipment needed for Health Care providers of the (elderly).

Implications of "just in time inventory systems" during a crisis

Many companies today use a kind of inventory system called "just in time inventory." Product use is measured over time, e.g. a year, to set inventory levels (e.g. month by month). The system reports on inventory "available" month by month. End users see only the amt available for the current month, not the total inventory on hand.

Real time inventory status is needed during a crisis.

Corona virus solution

There is no perfect balance between social distancing and keeping businesses viable. One seems to sacrifice the best aspects of the other. One idea hatched during the SARS epidemic but never implemented was a 'staggered seclusion week' which left businesses open 4 days a week using age distinctions i.e. Monday age 18-30. Wednesday age 31-45. Friday age 46-65
Saturday age 66 or more. This kept I. Between days for cleaning... more »

Community Paramedicine for Offensive Operations Against COVID19

We are on the defensive, waiting for our ICUs to be overrun by patients that are being allowed to deteriorate untreated at home until they become acute.

That is a losing strategy.

I propose we take the fight to the enemy before it reaches and overruns our base camps.

We do that with interdiction actions taken in the field...delivery of early onset care in the field utilizing Community Paramedicine.

Please see attached... more »

Terrorism in Biological Warfare

The absolute form of pandemic chaos is to use biological agents. Terrorist "bad actors" could easily affect the free world through very little effort. After 9/11 I wanted to get involved to do my part to help our USA. SMAT II Team out of NC was designed on the basis of Biological Incidence. I was the Chief Engineer and we first would deploy Mobile Hospital Units. The second thing we would perform was to investigate and... more »

Going Back to our Normal Life

I do have a very simple idea to bring all people back to their own normal life, the same life that they had prior to the Covid-19. I need to discuss my idea with scientists in the area of chemistry. We need to have a government funds to complete the research and manufacture to make a completely new product that will be unique and has never been made before. Currently all or may be majority of scientists that are involved... more »

Durable, virucidal gloves to greatly reduce the contact transmission of Covid-19

This idea concerns Covid-19. Since the Covid-19 campaign no longer exists here, I have no recourse but to post this idea, and many others, in the five current campaigns which still exist here.

It appears that DHS no longer reviews ideas that are submitted on this site. I hope they will disprove this assumption by communicating with me on each of my ideas and directly address any potential which they may have.

My idea... more »
