Employment process is broke

I am taking the time to email you because your employment process is broke. I service my country for 22 years before I retired in 2018. In the last two years I have applied for CBP under homeland security and both time I have been medically disqualified for my disabilities that I received while in service base on the medical documents that I turned in. How can your medical professional determent how a person can perform... more »

Amendment to Presidential Proclamation 10014 to reunite families of LPRs

Consider adding an amendment and resume visa issuance to spouses of Legal Permanent Residents (LPRs). Currently there's an exemption under PP 10014 for spouses of US citizens but spouses of LPRs are not included. LPRs are taxpayers as well, and deserve to be reunited with their loved ones.

COVID-19 protocols and other conditions might be set in place and review issuance on a case by case basis as suggested for other... more »

Idealism and Chaotic street violence;

The violence in our modern society is about the aggression of Law Enforcement and against the Black Community. I believe that these days the Police have so much pressure that they themselves are having a great deal of difficulty with handling social issues that everything is out of focus I believe that violence iis the issue on everyone's mind with Coronavirus/COVID19 and Antifa Movement and the economy that it's creating... more »

Stop Teaching Criminals

YouTube is filled with videos of interrogation of possible criminals with breakdowns of those videos. It absolutely gives criminals the inner workings of how interrogation works and they could by dissecting the videos learn new strategies for avoiding a conviction as well as giving them ideas that could hinder or prolong (cost the state or government more funds from the budget) the case at hand. However interesting or... more »

DHS/FEMA Disaster Housing

DHS/FEMA should use flexible, foldable, affordable, easy to assemble and move prefabricated units similar to those designed by the company Boxabl. These modular pre-fab units can be used as disaster housing units at a lower cost with faster setup time than MHUs currently used by FEMA. Along with providing more economical housing for disaster survivors, these units can be utilized as Responder housing and Incident Command... more »

REVENUE GENERATING BORDER WALL

Tired of hearing how much the wall will cost? ME TOO!!! Turn this gripe completely around by making the wall pay for itself and then; continue to generate revenues and create jobs, in perpetuity. Build the barrier and include in its construction; a line of Solar Panels and Wind Turbines along as much of the lenght of the wall, as possible. This will create an ongoing REVENUE STREAM in the generation of electricity. It... more »

School Violent Intruder Alarm System

Like a fire alarm, a violent intruder alarm installed in school buildings would enable anyone who observes a violent threat to notify 911, campus security, and occupants in the building of the threat by pulling the handle on an alarm mounted on the wall (next to the fire alarm). This alarm would broadcast an announcement inside the building informing people of the violent intruder and tell them to Run-Hide-Fight. This... more »

Information Sharing and Communication

Since the early development of the Department of Homeland Security, a recurring issue has been related to the lack of communication along with information sharing. Rewind sixteen years ago to 9/11, information sharing amongst agencies was quite low. Information was being kept within particular silos relating to what agencies individuals worked within. No silos would communicate with the other, and that caused a great... more »

Stop Immigration at our community

Not once, we have seen what we think are illegal immigrants at our local stores and shopping malls. I think we are not entirely wrong in our assumptions. I never once saw ICE come in the mall and detain what we think are illegal aliens, and I believe it mostly a public image problem. Our government officials simply don't want to cause a "scene" at the local mall. And yet everyday goes by without solving the illegal immigrants... more »

Re: National Geographic: A Hovering Threat | Breakthrough

If a terrorist cell could implement a 'The Jackal'-style sniper rifle on a drone, they could potentially assassinate someone from more than a mile away, while the 'pilot' is already outside of the country.

It wouldn't be easy, several technical engineering challenges. But it's plenty feasible.

Photographs on driving license discrimination

I live in Tn where I as a veteran was refused to let me have my picture taken with my Purple Heart hat on. I have been reading about religious exemptions. Jews can wear headgear, Muslim men can wear head gear ,Muslim women can wear head gear, and every other religious group that I know of. I pledged my oath to God and country. Why doesn't that count for anything. Time for a damn big change, I think.
