Inauguration/Protest Security

I feel like this may be a bit juvenile, but can't hurt to bring it up. I'm a veteran with a BAS in Emergency Management, but I am also a substitute teacher. I've seen my share of fights, and the best way to help cooler heads prevail is to make people sit down. Could this be an option in an area that is blocked off and where people could be safely corralled? This could work for any event, not just the inauguration. We... more »

Border Security

I am a retired Industrial Engineer who has recently been working with solar developers wanting to lease my farms in Virginia for a commercial Solar Farm development. I am for securing the US Southern border, but concerned about the cost and efficiency. One thing the US Government may consider for securing remote parts of the border is a public private partnership of continuous line of connected standard solar farms.... more »

1 SOLUTION TO THESE 3 PROBLEMS * ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS* *FUNDING FOR THE WALL* *SANCTUARY CITIES*

I have a idea that will get bipartisan support for a BILL to "Build the Wall", deal with ALL the "Illegal Immigrants" , men, women and the "dreamers" and that automatically does away with Sanctuary Cities!

Make a "one time" offer to all illegals immigrants (men, women and dreamers) and give them "ALL" the chance to become legal citizens, not just the millions that the sanctuary cities are threatening to give citizenship... more »

Defense against high rise shooters

I just heard a guest on CNN say that there’s no defense against a shooter in a high rise building.

I think there is a defense – an Apache attack helicopter could have easily neutralized the shooter with one shot. Seems that the NV Sheriff office may want to add an attack helicopter to their equipment list.

Every major city may need one someday - sad to say.

School Shootings

Just a note to start, I was not surprised, or shocked to find what I did when I typed in “Homeland Security” as a search page on my computer. I was however disappointed. Disappointed that there was not an immediately recognizable tab leading to a field where a person could enter information which they thought was an emergency situation. Just a few hours ago, the shooting in a Maryland school took place. A shooting which... more »
