I don't understand how illegals are able to obtain welfare. Make these people ineligible by reducing the federal contribution to state welfare programs (It is my understanding that the Federal government spends some 668 billion on welfare.) When the cost is shifted to the states, they will be forced to rethink their largesse.

I suggest creating a border wall lottery to fund the wall. Other lotteries, Powerball & Mega raise large amounts yearly. Participation by the public would be good. Vendors and locations for other lotteries are in place, so that would make it easy to implament. If the winnings were tax free, participation would be high.

You all are doing a great job. Secretary Nielsen is a great leader who understands that following the law is not policy. It must be amazing as a law enforcement agency to have a leader who understands the rule of law is not policy, but the compact that we all live under as Americans, whether native born or immigrant.
