Surveillance cameras

Surveillance cameras: We have reached a time in history where video footage is key to quickly solving and preventing crimes. One idea is to have a voluntary program where homeland security and local police could offer citizens (that have security cameras in place) to join and email list as a resource when video is quickly need due to an event. I think as part of this it's possible that laws would be changed to allow... more »

Dirty Bombs - people decontamination method

Hello, I recently watched a movie - Dirty War (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poZXRUxlaqk&t=4s)
It is about some terrorists exploding dirty bombs in London.
About half way in the movie, there was a statement - how many people can be decontaminated with the technology used in the movie and the answer was 200.
Here is my idea: See attachment.
The goal is to increase the number of people from 200 to 2000 or more.
Thank... more »

Motorgliders as a surveillance tool for drug trafficing , other border security, and search and rescue missions.

Motorgliders/ powered sailplanes have many advantages for security patrol and observation missions. Powered sailplanes are economical to purchase and maintain. Because of their low landing speeds and light weight, they can land on small airstrips or roads, and feature folding or removable wings for easy trailering. Civil Air Patrol or other volunteer pilots and observers could provide gratis services. One key feature... more »

Preventing sanctuary requests at the border

It is my understanding that those seeking sanctuary are supposed to do so in the country closest to their own and that they are supposed to apply at an embassy. We should refer any of those coming from South America to the government of Mexico. Or at the very least turn them away from our border saying they must apply at the embassy. Our embassies would take their application and schedule a hearing which must occur before... more »

Mexico can pay for the Wall

Mexico would have us believe that they wouldnt pay for any wall that would keep their unwanted dirt poor and criminals on their side of the border. But they can pay for it. If USA imposes a consumer tax on every box and bottle of Mexican goods imported into this country that is purchased by consumers and illegal immigrants, the money would pay for the wall. In other words, if a tax of 5 cents is added to each bottle/can... more »

Perception

Please give the public more information about the good things this administration is doing at our borders. I can find nothing on the web - only the inhumane separation of children, etc,- and I find that hard to believe!

I HAVE A FREE BOARDER WALL (whereby America, gets paid to build it)

Be it my proposal to build a boarder wall out of FREE PET plastic water-bottles and plastic bags, currently going unrecycled.

I recently read about masses of plastic garbage floating in the Ocean and in American Waterways.

Seems Humans, don’t know or care to recycle plastic water bottles. So lest build our... more »

Leverage Technology for Border Security

Imagine a 19th century American frontier fort in the growing West - sentinels on the garrison wall, flag flying. We have not gotten much further despite advances in security. CBP has installed radio systems, microwave links, cameras and sensors monitoring portions of our border - leverage those assets with command and control covering wider swaths of land under surveillance. Fewer agents would be at risk and could be... more »

Asylum seekers-change the process

We can spend U.S. money by requiring asylum seeks to apply at the American embassy/consulate that is located in their home country. We could build tent cities in their home country on the American Embassy/consulate property. The asylum seekers should not be allowed into the United States until they have been completely vetted, Those who have a skill/education that is needed in the US could be put at the "front of the... more »

ALTERNATIVE DIRECTION FOR CENTRAL AMERICAN REFUGEES

Instead of taking in refugees heading NORTH from Central American to US, have US govt PAY farther SOUTH Central American or even SOUTH AMERICAN countries to take them in --- with $ from US for initial expense covered too. Except for Brazil, those countries speak SPANISH ALREADY, making it SO MUCH EASIER for both refugees and the countries taking them in!!!

Inform The Public

It appears obvious to me that we are not separating children from their families at the border. The parent to child ratios are 1:1. These children were separated from their families when a single "parent" decided to head for the U.S. with a child in tow. For sure, the other parent may have agreed to this action, agreed to separate one child from the rest of immediate family. How do we know? How can we be sure? They have... more »

Human Trafficking / Sex Trafficking

Why does it take so long for agents to do these cases. Most cases take years while victims suffer or die during the investigation. If they know people are in danger help them stop being selfish and waiting to catch the big fish. The FBI once told me human trafficking is someone chained down inside where they can’t leave and trafficked from there. Is there something that can be done to help solve these cases. Why do victims... more »

Youth education on immigration

Most of the drive behind social unrest within America has been by a generation of youth that get their ideas from large amounts of social media. Many of them, if not all, do not completely understand that entering/living in a country without gaining citizenship or work visas is a crime. They also do not understand the effect that foreign invasion has on their lives even though they support it. I believe educating our... more »

Driver Face and License Plate Recognition System for Moving Cars

For investigative reasons, real-time recognition of the face of vehicle’s driver in cars, vans, trucks, etc. in moving traffic, especially of the driver and front passenger as well as simultaneous license plate recognition is of great importance. The mobile system can be used e. g. on roads, highways, entrances/exits, border crossings, temporarily or in 24/7 operation. The system can also be used as a driver's certificate... more »
