Tidal Wave Defense

At the shoreline, build a deck 100 -500 feet square. When the tidal wave comes in, it will stand the deck up on its end. Sufficient number of cables (1 every 10 square feet) will hold it back as well as reinforcment buttresses on the other side. Walls or other types of installments could be built under the water to pre-reduce the wave's energy. 17 300 ft. decks equals 1 mile. I estimate that a non-thermal nuke might make... more »

Border wall with recycled railroad track rail

I can build the wall In one year. There’s 85,607 x 2 miles of unused railroad tracks in US. Owned by the Department of transportation, so there paid for. The rails are 78 ft long, take them put on rail cars down to the border, stand on end and pile drive them in 8” A part. They replace approximately 600 miles of rails per year, there are stacks of old rails all over the country waiting to be picked up we can start with... more »

Flight Rail Corporation

Building "The Wall" is perhaps a knee jerk reaction to the problem of migrants all over the world and one needs to look back down the line to try and address the reason why they are moving.

However, I have just come across Flight Rail Corp in California, a very small company without billionaire back up who have designed an atmospheric rail system that could change how people and freight are moved which is both simple... more »

Immigrant Tariff Trade

Quick idea here....While Trade and Immigration is in the table, why not combine the two? For every Immigrant that robs this country of opportunities for legal citizens use trade tariffs to compensate for loss of the illegal immigrants country of origin. This will not only help our country but will wake up our neighboring nations to contribute in keeping their flock from entering.

a GofundMe account that would purchase a wall to be installed at the border by company's already tasked.

Money donated would go into an account in DHS name, when the amount is reached for 0ne (1) section of wall. This money would be used for that section with a plack stating it was erected by Border Security loving individuals. The plack could have the Names/State/Country/etc...

Vary Citizen Engagement Campaigns to Promote Continued Engagement

People tend to become numb to hearing the same admonishment to be vigilant and report suspicious incidents. With the advent of the coronavirus and fears of a pandemic, we should find creative ways to keep citizens engaged with their surroundings and continue to look for suspicious packages, suspicious individuals, and those who might be up to no good. We should engage with the public on social media, through work events,... more »

What the hell, acting Sec. Wolf?

Delaying RealID for a year? Why? Is our border security not important if there's a pandemic? What about those of us who actually do as we're told? Did I waste my money? Looks like it- me and the illegal MS13 dude with the face tattoos can both fly on our Washington State drivers license for another year. Great idea, bureaucrats- no security issues there.

New applications of UVC light and Far UVC light to reduce the airborne transmission of Covid-19

This idea concerns Covid-19. Since the Covid-19 campaign no longer exists here, I have no recourse but to post this idea, and many others, in the five current campaigns which still exist here.

It appears that DHS no longer reviews ideas that are submitted on this site. I hope they will disprove this assumption by communicating with me on each of my ideas and directly address any potential which they may have.

Effective Alternatives in Riot Condition

In the last six months we have all seen a number of major incidents in US cities with fires, looting and injury caused by rioters. Standard procedures so far to quell riots include an array of 'non-lethal' munitions, tear-gas, and so on. Due to the unruliness of the crowd there is still an opportunity for both rioters, police, and DHS personnel to be injured.

I happened to be stationed in Berlin during heavy rioting,... more »

California

To stop the flow of possible terriorists entering the US and to stop illegals coming or going into California or any other sanctuary state why not set up check stops similar to the DOT where cars will have to stop and show Identification, anyone not clearing the check can be detained and if not cleared then detained.

In California this can be done on 15, 40, 5, 101 and any other major Highways entering the state.
