China Espionage in Universities

PROBLEM:
Most people are not aware that China reportedly sends “STUDENTS” to the U.S. to OVERTLY participate in various educational courses, and COVERTLY their main purpose is to participate in stealing research and trade secrets. Other individuals could participate in espionage over a longer period of time. There are many fields that may be the targets of Chinese espionage at Universities, below I will give a very... more »

Portable applications of negative ions, UVC light and Far UVC light to reduce the airborne transmission of Covid-19

This idea concerns Covid-19. Since the Covid-19 campaign no longer exists here, I have no recourse but to post this idea, and many others, in the five current campaigns which still exist here.

It appears that DHS no longer reviews ideas that are submitted on this site. I hope they will disprove this assumption by communicating with me on each of my ideas and directly address any potential which they may have.

How to STOP school shootings

The shootings in our schools is intolerable and people are desperate for a real solution, understandably so. As a parent of six adult kids and the grand father of 18 grand kids and 11 great grand kids, I join with everyone else in desiring our kids to be safe and not worrying about going to school and whether or not that day they may be shot or killed; I can't imagine what that must be like for our kids; it has to stop.... more »

CREATE A NEW PS-PREP TYPE PROGRAM FOR SCHOOLS

IDEA: Given the current threat environment, perhaps DHS/USSS should create a new “PS-Prep” type program for Schools, to enhance their safety practices.
-
RECALL: In the past Congress through the Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS), has directed the creation of the “PS-Prep” program which enables business safety practices to be enhanced.

DHS NEW Campus Resilience Program Resource Library website

Looks like DHS launched the new campus resilience program resource library recently here:
https://www.dhs.gov/campus-resilience-program-resource-library
I love it, thanks DHS! I'll post this link on my websites too.
-
A GREAT STEP FORWARD:
To me, this puts the ball back in the corner of Schools/Campuses, we must now observe if schools will actually systematically comb through the above website, and collect the documents,... more »

Ensuring the safety of our youth from shooters in schools and other public places

CLANDESTINE SENSORS at schools and other public entrances would be uniquely set up to SPECIFICALLY AND IMMEDIATELY TRACK ALL TYPES OF CONCEALED FIREARMS at all building entrances. Firearms carried by hired security would already be cleared.

Federal laws will be enacted by Congress declaring that ALL REGISTERED (AND NON-REGISTERED) FIREARMS MUST BE RECALLED AND CHIPPED to be able to be tracked. All Americans would rally... more »

IS PREPAREDNESS IGNORANCE BLISS OR BLUNDER

Under this Academic Engagement campaign subsection, I would like to propose the idea of creating preparedness learning modules for high school and college education, so that they may embrace preparedness as early as feasible. Consider the following example (teacher’s version) I previously prepared for one of my friends who is currently teaching.

Teachers Unions Co Funds School Security, Safety

Said Teachers Unions should co fund ALL campus Security & Safety programs.

Use X% funds for school safety nationwide.

CUT down on DC expenses alone.

Tour Union Hqs in Wash DC & note the waste & glitter, etc.

Paid for by Dues. Your dues IF Union.

No excuse they have the Funds to support.

Blame Union bosses.

Teach staff to use guns, MACE, pepper spray, etc alone.

Arm the janitors, cooks etc.

Post signs.

Get Academia up-to-speed with cyber

The USA needs to aggressively incentivize and recruit cyber experts to fill a 4.2 billion dollar gap. Students need affordable access to curriculums which will allow them entry into the job market. Current academic programs are years behind industry and government. This is presumably due to the slow-moving gears inherent to any large institution. The problem is that universities are now primarily focused on generating... more »

Dedicated COVID EMS Units with Decon Team Task Force...HAZMAT Approach.

As the outbreak of COVID19 spreads, EMS is constantly being exposed to transmissible patients. This results in extensive down time for units and crews.

Utilizing telemedicine screening at the medical control or 911 level we pre-screen these people and dispatch appropriate resource.

The unit consists of a TFL and two sub units; EMS and Decon. Enhances provider safety and maximizes turn around.

Iodine, a preventive and curative agent in the COVID-19 pandemic?

We recently published an article about the potential value of iodine in the fight against and prevention of COVID 19 infection. There are clinical observations, there is pathophysiological evidence, there are epidemiological data and there is animal research supporting this hypothesis. That is a lot more substantiation than the different medications that are tried in different trials.

In addition, we have recently received... more »

Avoiding abuse by colleges trending idea

Universities are reclassifying their majors to get around DHS regulations, for example New York University classifies journalism and drama under a STEM major. STEM is science, technology, engineering and math. This is clearly abusive.

In other instances for example at Berkeley, professors openly stated they would conspire to get around DHS/ICE rules by having one student classrooms for immigrants. Immigration is highly... more »

Need to conduct national audit of all law enforcement agencies records - 3 strikes and you are OUT

DHS needs to conduct an independent audit of all law enforcement agencies, not just the police, and enter into a database ALL police shootings, beatings, and complaints. Any law enforcement officer with 3 complaints or inappropriate behavior needs to be terminated immediately! No Exceptions. All law enforcement personnel need to be put through rigorous psychological examinations and racial/sexual orientation bias exams.... more »

Dysfunctionality trending idea

The U.S.A have troubles, but these troubles are not Edward Snowden and Julian Assange. One big trouble is ignorance combined with incompetence and incapacity of the governmental departments and agencies to recognize real troubles and threats for the American people. The failure to act in a right and proper way is only a consequence of these. More dangerous as the CoVid pandemic is a pandemic of stupidity and magnification... more »
