Immigration trending idea

The Constitution of the United States of America was written and signed by immigrants, for immigrants. "Land of the Free!" (…as slavery shamefully continued for many following generations.)

Some Americans boast of superiority, but reject those who seek the "American Dream." There is not one solitary reason a person or family flees to the United States of America. Some search for a better future; some for safety; some... more »

Expand EAD automatic 180-days extension to more categories

Since January 17, 2017, USCIS is automatically extending only 15 out of 57 categories of expiring EADs for up to 180 days for those who have applied for renewal.

Considering the current unsustainable situation for EAD holders due to longer processing time, I'd like for you to consider extending this decision to more categories of EAD (for example: H4, L2, F1 visa holders), so more legal immigrants currently working would... more »

Instead of a wall with Mexico, Develop Border With Projects That Benefit Both Countries. http://chng.it/B5YcBtrz5R

A high volume of Mexican and South American citizens seek economic opportunity or political asylum in America at our border with Mexico. Desperation drives some to attempt unsanctioned border crossing, fueling a demand for "coyotes" who promise to secure illegal entry for money. This petition asks Alejandro Majorkas, our Secretary of DHS to solve the issues around a high volume of undocumented immigrants by putting Refugee... more »

Idea #881: Reduce full time to 25 hrs a week and have universal healthcare along with a living wage..

Campaign: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Author: linda l meyer

Given Covid-19s long-term effects on employment or lack thereof, I suggest a reduced "full time" workload to 25 hours a week so that more people can enter the workforce. There would also need to be adjustments to having healthcare for all plans and... more »

Oath Ceremony for approved legal immigrant

I was scheduled to do the Oath of allegiance March 19 at the USCIS field office in Charlotte, NC. Unfortunately, the USCIS is now closed to the public till maybe the end of March. I would like to recommend that USCIS conducts the Oath ceremony immediately with 10 to 15 immigrants at a time. Instead of inviting 50 to 60 people to the ceremony, it could be arranged as I mentioned earlier for 10 or 15 people and conduct... more »

Cybersecurity through Job Security

There are too many people with high skills in technology and personal experience in technology that have a difficult time finding and even hearing from a job(or even internship). Many of these people might be discouraged out of trying to find one and at the same time remain interested in the field. Even worse, there is an attempt to encourage more social people to join technology and discourage people who like to work... more »
