Walls are outdated. Use drones.

The gentleman from Vermont might not have been entirely out of line today when he explained walls are "last century's technology". So use drones across the ~1800 miles of needed border. Specifically, an array of response drones could be enormously beneficial to CBP, ICE, and DHS in general. Drones can be programmed to automatically recharge on environmentally sound seismic pylons (detection of underground digging) that... more »

Go Fund Me

Why doesn’t the government start a Go Fund Me account to help pay for the wall. I know there are MANY who would donate.

Mexico to pay for Wall

I saw DHS Secretary Nielsen being drilled by Sen Leahy on Dems fav topic on Mexico to pay. May I help with a relatively simple response. We lost estimated $40B a year to Mexico on drug traffic. A wall can easily cut down the traffic by 25%, likely more. That's savings of at least $10B. In 2 yrs the Wall will be paid for, yes, by Mexico money, and 5 times over in 10 years.
I sympathize with Trump's staff to have to defend... more »

Win public support

I think legitimate efforts to boost border security are getting hurt by out-of-control immigration practices elsewhere. ICE and DHS are getting a really bad rep, targeting longtime residents for political purposes, splitting apart innocent families to fill quotas, and not allowing people to apply for amnesty when they reach the borders. Maybe first work to eliminate counterproductive, spiteful, and sometimes unlawful... more »

Welfare Reform

I don't understand how illegals are able to obtain welfare. Make these people ineligible by reducing the federal contribution to state welfare programs (It is my understanding that the Federal government spends some 668 billion on welfare.) When the cost is shifted to the states, they will be forced to rethink their largesse.

Best and Brightest vs Low Talent vs Fair Math Immigration

PURPOSE:
This topic briefly discusses select facets of illegal immigration.
-
BASELINE:
I’m of the opinion that immigration is a complex subject. The facts are that (as of 2016), there is an estimated 11.3 million illegal immigrants living in the U.S., and 30 percent of federal prison inmates are illegal immigrants, costing us a fortune. Also, 59% of them live in California, Texas, Florida, New York, New Jersey and... more »

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION ISSUE USED TO SHUTDOWN OUR GOVERNMENT AND DISRUPT THE WHOLE COUNTRY

PROBLEM:
I cannot believe our whole country is being disrupted due to politicians putting illegal aliens before U.S. citizens. THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I AM APOLITICAL!!! The non-rational tribalism and disruptive grandstanding has to end, it is damaging our government, our security, and our economy. Foreign adversaries love it, these issues are disrupting normal businesses, supply chains and our overall society. It damages... more »

California

To stop the flow of possible terriorists entering the US and to stop illegals coming or going into California or any other sanctuary state why not set up check stops similar to the DOT where cars will have to stop and show Identification, anyone not clearing the check can be detained and if not cleared then detained.

In California this can be done on 15, 40, 5, 101 and any other major Highways entering the state.

Critical Infrastructure

To get the community involved in protecting critical infrastructure such as cell towers, electrical power stations, power plants, etc by education and awareness. Similar to neighborhood watch, have informed and educated persons to be eyes and ears for suspicious activities and or potential terrorist acts. Tidal Wave Defense

At the shoreline, build a deck 100 -500 feet square. When the tidal wave comes in, it will stand the deck up on its end. Sufficient number of cables (1 every 10 square feet) will hold it back as well as reinforcment buttresses on the other side. Walls or other types of installments could be built under the water to pre-reduce the wave's energy. 17 300 ft. decks equals 1 mile. I estimate that a non-thermal nuke might make... more »

Surveillance cameras

Surveillance cameras: We have reached a time in history where video footage is key to quickly solving and preventing crimes. One idea is to have a voluntary program where homeland security and local police could offer citizens (that have security cameras in place) to join and email list as a resource when video is quickly need due to an event. I think as part of this it's possible that laws would be changed to allow... more »

Wall of solar panels generating enough hydrogen to eliminate burning of fossil fuels for US energy needs and secure the border.

The two thousand mile wall of solar panels on the Mexican border would generate enough hydrogen to supply the total energy requirements of the USA. The solar panel array could be constructed to form a wall on the border that would ensure total border security.Hydrogen burning fuel cells could power every vehicle and power plant that currently burns fossil fuels, therefore making our total energy consumption solar powered.... more »

Dirty Bombs - people decontamination method

Hello, I recently watched a movie - Dirty War (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poZXRUxlaqk&t=4s)
It is about some terrorists exploding dirty bombs in London.
About half way in the movie, there was a statement - how many people can be decontaminated with the technology used in the movie and the answer was 200.
Here is my idea: See attachment.
The goal is to increase the number of people from 200 to 2000 or more.
Thank... more »
