AIMS Alert Individuals Mass Shooter

I came up with this idea after the recent shooting in Odessa Texas and I felt that this would assist the public as well as the police, first responders. Growing up for a short time in Iowa I recall the Air Sirens that would alert the public of potential dangers like tornados or other potential catastrophes. After the shooting in Texas, I began to think how could the public be alerted immediately at the same time of an... more »

Build that Pheromone Wall! Use wetback repellant (volatile methyl ester aversive human pheromone) to repel illegal immigrants.

There is an extremely aversive human pheromone that we could use to secure all our undefended borders. A pheromone is a chemical or set of chemicals that affect the behavior, physiology, fertility, or pathology of another organism of the same species. I discovered the aversive human pheromone. It is a component of healthy adult male facial skin surface lipid pheromone that I have used to successfully treat ADHD and... more »

Pour soybean oil ahead of hurricanes to diminish their intensity or change their direction of travel by inhibiting evaporation.

Hurricanes feed on evaporation. This is why hurricanes move forward over warmer water and leave cooler water in their wakes. Soybean oil self-deploys over ocean water at a rate of between 0.1 and0.3 meters/second (depending upon wind direction). Soybean oil poured onto the sea surface keeps spreading until it is just 1 molecule thick on the surface. Thus, we can pour even just a few hundred gallons of soybean oil... more »

Alternatives to indefinite detainment, which should not be a conversation in 2019

It seems to me that the type of border control measures we're currently utilizing aren't working, because if they were we wouldn't be constantly in crisis, people wouldn't be dying at the border, US citizens wouldn't be so afraid of immigrants that they targeted non-white populations for violence, etc. The most efficient way to actually address the problem isn't to sensationalize it, but to study ways that other countries... more »

Private Security Companiies

Personal experience has taught me that large events in my case festivals, music, beer, RV, faires such as the Dickens Faire and even local county fairs should not be allowed to open to the public unless they have a plan for security that meets or exceeds the requirements of Homeland Security. Problem is; there really are no requirements for these events. "Private security personnel often are the first line of defense... more »

Female Rhythm

This is a societal issue, in my opinion, and the reason for this submission. Females are more naturally suited towards "Multi-tasking" as far as I understand. If this is true, why do male drummers exist? It seems as though the most complex rhythms come from each limb acting independently.
