How To Pay For The Wall.

This is how to not only pay for the construction of the Southern Border Wall, but to pay off our foreign debt to China. Last January the Multistate :Powerball Lottery had a Grand Prize totaling $1.5 Billion Dollars USD. In one week 8 Trillion Tickets were sold that generated $16 Trillion Dollars. Canada, Ireland, and other Countries have their own National Lottery. Why not create a Federally operated National Lottery,... more »

School Violent Intruder Alarm System

Like a fire alarm, a violent intruder alarm installed in school buildings would enable anyone who observes a violent threat to notify 911, campus security, and occupants in the building of the threat by pulling the handle on an alarm mounted on the wall (next to the fire alarm). This alarm would broadcast an announcement inside the building informing people of the violent intruder and tell them to Run-Hide-Fight. This... more »

Airline safety.

Separate luggage from the passengers!
There should be Cargo Planes which will handle luggage for multiple Airlines by destination which would arrive at approx same time with the Passenger planes. People already have all they need on the plane: food, drinks, seat mounted computer tablets, internet and movies. They don't need their luggage while airborne! Pros: 99.9% safety guarantee! Cons: will require scheduling changes.... more »

Airline safety - external scanning of an airplane before take off.

Here is my other idea. Right before the take off while taxing every airplane is scanned by an external laser device for presence of explosive ingredient vapors on board.

Such device currently exist for detection of alcohol in cars. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/06/140602155959.htm

The use of the device is simple: The laser system is be set up on the side of the runway to monitor each plane that passes by.... more »

USA/Mexico Border Wall: Crowd Funding

I suggest a government ran website that will allow American citizens to donate their own money to offset the cost of the USA/Mexico Border Wall. The website does not have to be for just the Border Wall. It should also allow citizens the oppurtunity to donate to a variety of other important government projects. When someone donates to any of the causes listed on the site they can receive a mailed official certificate... more »

Border Wall and How to pay

After viewing the proposed wall designs it is apparent most of these entries have never spent much time on the border. I grew up on the border and have ranched along the border. I have attached a design that is feasible, will create jobs and use existing production capacity.

Besides Sen Cruz's funding proposal to use El Chapo's assets I would suggest putting a 20% EXPORT TAX on US CURRENCY being wired "home" (to MX... more »

Collecting Ground Truth - Communicating data is always going to be a challenge

A Unified and Adaptive Emergency Response requires good solid technology, which has been implemented for the operation. Everyone has a different system and always will. Communicating data is always going to be a challenge, especially from the field as decision makers, at all levels, need quality ground truth information to make good decisions. User Defined Operating Picture

A User Defined Operating Picture (UDOP) is the availability of relevant operational data across various systems, geographically distributed, in or outside the operation, scene of disaster or area of interest.

The reality is that the in-field component of an operation has different data needs from command and each command has different data needs. There is a need for real-time, on-demand reports and briefs with maps based... more »

Information Sharing and Communication

Since the early development of the Department of Homeland Security, a recurring issue has been related to the lack of communication along with information sharing. Rewind sixteen years ago to 9/11, information sharing amongst agencies was quite low. Information was being kept within particular silos relating to what agencies individuals worked within. No silos would communicate with the other, and that caused a great... more »
