Standardized ISP router password prefixes are making things very insecure

without getting into details ..

Most all of the major ISPs are using standardized password prefixes for their customers, and in the majority of cases these do not get changed.

This makes it very easy, for bruteforce lists to be created, that common available tools can make use of to compromise networks.

These tools are widely available, and free on the internet for children.

If ISP's are not forced to stop standardizing... more »

Global Entry platform is blocked

re:ttp.dhs.gov

When you choose Global Entry renewal there is a pop up about Security that one cannot get past - it goes way off the bottom of the screen and there is no scroll bar to go down the page. So you can't access the agree and continue bar. The genius code writers of DHD should be fired! Have you noticed a complete drop off in renewal applications? Wonder no more - your own dept.'s geniuses have rendered it... more »

Easy Road to Election Fraud

There must be a database set up so each person can only caste one ballot. There is nothing that prevents a person from using his address to caste a ballot in his/her precinct and using his friend's address to cast a ballot in another precinct. Example: I live in Auburn, Washington. I use my Auburn address to register to vote in Auburn. I caste a ballot in the Auburn precinct. I have a friend in Kent, Washington. I register... more »

At all polling stations, there should be one Republican, one Democrat and one Independent monitor to check each ballot to make sure it has no errors and is counted correctly. No ballot can be considered valid which has not be reviewed by the panel of three. In this way, there will be no disputes about ballots as the three must be in agreement. All three must also check voter's I.D.

Put violent demonstrators on the No-Fly List trending idea

News has indicated many of the most violent demonstrators, including Antifa, are flying into certain cities to instigate violence and disrupt elections. Since they fly around the country, creating anarchy, put them on the No-Fly List. Put anybody arrested for violence on the list and certainly anybody convicted of street violence.

Criminal Profiling

This will sound strange at first but please read through completely.
Serious Haunted Houses such as the McKamey Manor and others seem to me at a glance (never been to one just google searched and seen YouTube videos) to be a breeding ground for possible malevolent individuals. Some agency should Infilitrate these places and collect profiles on individuals working at them. In case a crime (murder, rape ect ect…)in a area... more »

Stop Teaching Criminals

YouTube is filled with videos of interrogation of possible criminals with breakdowns of those videos. It absolutely gives criminals the inner workings of how interrogation works and they could by dissecting the videos learn new strategies for avoiding a conviction as well as giving them ideas that could hinder or prolong (cost the state or government more funds from the budget) the case at hand. However interesting or... more »

First - Thank You for laying out such a GREAT Plan for building an Emergency Preparedness kit.

Situation: Adding a weeks worth of Medication to the kit. If a persons pulls a weeks worth of med's from their bottles, this could lead them to come up short, and need to refill before the actual refill date. The pharmacy's may not go along with this need.

Solution: At Least once a year - Having some sort of authorization... more »

Effective Alternatives in Riot Condition

In the last six months we have all seen a number of major incidents in US cities with fires, looting and injury caused by rioters. Standard procedures so far to quell riots include an array of 'non-lethal' munitions, tear-gas, and so on. Due to the unruliness of the crowd there is still an opportunity for both rioters, police, and DHS personnel to be injured.

I happened to be stationed in Berlin during heavy rioting,... more »

DHS needs to conduct an independent audit of all law enforcement agencies, not just the police, and enter into a database ALL police shootings, beatings, and complaints. Any law enforcement officer with 3 complaints or inappropriate behavior needs to be terminated immediately! No Exceptions. All law enforcement personnel need to be put through rigorous psychological examinations and racial/sexual orientation bias exams.... more »

Secure Mail in Ballot System

To improve upon the security of the mail-in ballot involves the creation of several secure database repositories and the verification infrastructure to valid/count votes quickly.

2. Each voter must have scanned into a statewide database a signature. This signature will feed... more »
