Border Security

Why not force the Illegal population here in CONUS to pay for border security and their support?

Residing in small-town Central Texas, I've noticed the local illegal population has nearly doubled these past 5 years. The local Municipality states that it isn't their job to enforce Immigration Law's and refuse to become involved. My daddy always said to work smarter not harder.

I recently read that Mexico charges CONUS illegals as much as a 30% tax to send money into Mexico. I surmise that if they are willing to... more »

Inform The Public

It appears obvious to me that we are not separating children from their families at the border. The parent to child ratios are 1:1. These children were separated from their families when a single "parent" decided to head for the U.S. with a child in tow. For sure, the other parent may have agreed to this action, agreed to separate one child from the rest of immediate family. How do we know? How can we be sure? They have... more »

Families seeking asylum

DHS must stop separating parents from children at the border. Families come seeking asylum. They deserve to enter the USA and be treated with care and dignity in accordance with American values. Many of us are ashamed by policies of the current administration.

Pursuading Sanctuary Cites to uphold Immigration Detainers and Pay for a Wall

Observing current decisions by Federal Judges has compelled me to offer the following suggestion.

Sanctuary cities refuse to honor administrative detainers and many politicians believe that illegal entry is not a crime. There is a solution that both proves the point and drives it home that there are consequences to thwarting the Federal Laws of the United States. Utilizing 8 USC 1325 would be a good way to compel... more »

New applications of UVC light and Far UVC light to reduce the airborne transmission of Covid-19

This idea concerns Covid-19. Since the Covid-19 campaign no longer exists here, I have no recourse but to post this idea, and many others, in the five current campaigns which still exist here.

It appears that DHS no longer reviews ideas that are submitted on this site. I hope they will disprove this assumption by communicating with me on each of my ideas and directly address any potential which they may have.

My idea... more »

BLM riots

Something must be done to quell the violence in our cities against police. One of the excuses liberal city mayors are using against Federal officers assigned to protect Federal buildings is that they have no name tags to facilitate complaints. I believe for good reason as the anarchists will search where they live and harass them. My suggestion is if you send 500 Federal Officers to a city, instead of name tags give them... more »

Surveillance cameras

Surveillance cameras: We have reached a time in history where video footage is key to quickly solving and preventing crimes. One idea is to have a voluntary program where homeland security and local police could offer citizens (that have security cameras in place) to join and email list as a resource when video is quickly need due to an event. I think as part of this it's possible that laws would be changed to allow... more »

Coronavirus

DHS will look really, really bad if it's not more proactive about preventing coronavirus outbreaks in detention facilities and via immigration check-ins etc. People in facilities for bogus reasons should be released into the community so there's less congestion and more space, just smart in terms of preventing close contacts and unsafe staffing ratios if correctional officers are out sick. And immigration check-ins should... more »

Situation: Adding a weeks worth of Medication to the kit. If a persons pulls a weeks worth of med's from their bottles, this could lead them to come up short, and need to refill before the actual refill date. The pharmacy's may not go along with this need.

Solution: At Least once a year - Having some sort of authorization... more »
