Expand EAD automatic 180-days extension to more categories

Since January 17, 2017, USCIS is automatically extending only 15 out of 57 categories of expiring EADs for up to 180 days for those who have applied for renewal.

Considering the current unsustainable situation for EAD holders due to longer processing time, I'd like for you to consider extending this decision to more categories of EAD (for example: H4, L2, F1 visa holders), so more legal immigrants currently working would be automatically extended for 180 days.

This would certainly help countless immigrants that are about to lose their legal authorization to work when having timely filed for an extension. This would reduce stress both on legal working immigrants who would have an 180 days cushion to avoid employment gap and on USCIS with a drop in expedite requests received.
