Current overcrowding at the 14 airports designated for medical screening by the administration is both inefficient and potentially dangerous. "Social distancing" is impossible as passengers wait for hours in large groups. I suggest having passengers screened prior to boarding the aircraft or at the very latest, while aboard the aircraft. Medical screening (taking temps and asking questions) can be accomplished by anyone. Why not use the time passengers are sitting and waiting (before or during flight) to perform medical screening? Patients who require further assistance can be identified, quarantined to a certain capacity, and receive prompt medical attention they require. This will allow for the safety of the remaining passengers.
